Alcohol Policy

High Lifter wants sponsors, participants, and staff to have a safe and enjoyable time during the High Lifter Mud National events. To help promote safety, there will be NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE RIDING ATVS, RUVs, MOTORCYCLES, or other motorized vehicles, on any property belonging to the parks during the High Lifter Mud National events. No open container containing an alcoholic beverage will be allowed in possession of a person operating or as a passenger of a motor vehicle. No person under the age of 21 shall be in possession of alcoholic beverages.

Security and police officers will be on patrol in the campgrounds, parking areas, trails and vendor areas observing for violations of this policy and other reckless or dangerous behavior. Violators will have their open alcoholic beverages poured out and upon second offense, or particularly dangerous behavior IN THE JUDGMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, will be removed from the park without refund of their entrance fees. Law enforcement officers will also be enforcing applicable laws regarding driving under the influence.

This policy does not prohibit consumption of alcoholic beverages in campsites or when not riding. It also does not require inspection of ice chests. It is simply an effort to improve safety and decrease the potential for accidents.
