Frequently Asked Questions

What is High Lifter Mud Nationals?

Only the biggest mud ride in the Southeast!

When you arrive for the 5-day High Lifter Mud Nationals, there is no shortage of activities to keep you and your group entertained. Most people choose to stay onsite camping, in order to get the full experience (more info below). There are competitions, games, vendors, concerts and most importantly, miles of trails to ride and explore. You can test your skills in the mud competitions to win money and bragging rights, or you can simply watch and cheer for your favorite racer. If racing is not your thing, you can test your skills in the poker run or roll the prize wheel to win big prizes. There is something for everyone.

How do I get tickets?

Attendees can purchase tickets at the gate when you arrive. Once our gates open, they do not close until the end of the event. General admission for the 5-day event is $100 per person. Children 6 years and under are free. Early fees apply for anyone arriving before 8 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Where do I stay?

There are several options available. We recommend staying onsite to get the total experience.

There are full RV campsites available to that have water and electrical hook-ups, and even some with sewer connections. These will go on sale November 1, 2023, at 8 AM CST by calling 409-565-2500. Please do not call earlier than November 1st, as you will NOT be able to reserve before that day/time.

You also have the option to reserve a dry camping spot. The park has acquired additional land that will be used for this to ensure that you have a specific spot reserved just for you when you arrive. This also makes it easy for you and your friends to camp together. These are 30′ x 70′ DRY sites (no water or electricity) that are held until you arrive. Dates when these will be available for reservations will be announced at a later date.

General camping is first come first served and can be used for your camper / tent or box trailer (if used for sleeping) for the entire stay. You are permitted to camp wherever there is an open space that is not marked for reserved customers when you arrive. Be aware that space fills up fast, so the later you come the less space you have to choose from!

There are also some hotels in the Leesville, LA area and the Jasper, TX area, if you prefer, but rooms fill up quickly.

Pricing and links for all camping can be found on the “Admissions” tab.

How early can I come?

You can arrive as early as Monday, April 1st, but early fees do apply. Please see the “Admissions” tab for details.

Are there restrooms and showers onsite?

Yes! There will be portable toilets placed throughout the park and showers across from Vendor Village near the park store that is free to use.

How do I sign up for competitions?

What kind of vendors will be there?

Can I sell products from my trailer/camper?

Gas will be available on onsite this year. There are no area gas stations close to Sabine ATV Park.

What about ice?

Ice will also be for sale onsite at the park store as well as many other items you may need or run out of during your visit.

Can I fly my drone?

Personal drones may not be operated. Professional media is excluded from this policy after they have been approved by management of High Lifter Events. To have your drone approved, email marketing@highlifter.com.

Will my personal property be safe in my car or at my campsite?

Security and police officers will be on patrol throughout the park to enforce all High Lifter Mud Nationals and Sabine ATV Park rules and policies. As a safety precaution, we recommend that you lock up any unattended valuable items in a safe location. High Lifter Events and Sabine ATV Park are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Is there a map of the trails for the park?

Yes. You can download the Lost Riders App. This is the official trail app of the 2024 High Lifter Mud Nationals event. No internet is required to use the app, but you need to download the app with internet or data access. High resolution satellite imagery allows you to see trails of the park. The Lost Riders App also includes a SOS feature allowing you to notify friends and the park in case of an emergency. You can download this app in the Apple or Android App Stores.
